Field Services

CRL Environmental Corporation maintains a full time 40-hr trained field services staff who conducts environmental sampling of wastewater, surface water, groundwater, soil/sediments, gases, and air. Statistical sampling of hazardous waste site is also routinely done at CRL.

Field services in laboratory testing for water and air are crucial in ensuring the quality of our environment and protecting public health. With the growing concerns over pollution and its effects on human health and the environment, it has become increasingly important to monitor and test the quality of our air and water. Field services play a key role in this by collecting samples from various sources and analyzing them in a laboratory to determine their quality. In the case of water testing, field services are responsible for collecting samples from various sources, such as rivers, lakes, and groundwater wells, and analyzing them for various parameters, such as pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and specific contaminants like heavy metals and organic compounds. Similarly, for air testing, field services use specialized equipment to collect air samples from indoor and outdoor environments, which are then analyzed for parameters like particulate matter, volatile organic compounds, and nitrogen oxides. With the help of field services, we can better understand the quality of our environment and take necessary steps to mitigate any negative impacts on human health and the environment.
