President & CEO
Engr. Elizabeth P. Romualdo graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in chemical engineering and became a licensed chemical engineer shortly thereafter. In the United States, she took up Programming Technology which proved vital in her professional growth.
Early in her career, she rose from the ranks as an information analyst to become the President and General Manager of Dataprep Phils., the exclusive distributor for Data General USA, a leading mini-computer manufacturer at the time.
She had also been a major part of STI College, one of the Philippines’ pioneering computer schools, where she managed various STI campuses and training centers in La Union, Laoag, Baguio and Alabang as the President and CEO. She was also one of the members of the board of directors of the flagship campus STI College – Cubao.
Her wealth of experience as a manager and an entrepreneur backed by her education as an engineer led her to set up CRL ENVIRONMENTAL CORPORATION in 1998, the first mobile environmental lab in the country. The laboratory has since grown from a humble 8 square meter office space to a 1,080 square meter stationary lab facility in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. Two more companies have been founded to complement the needs of the laboratory and the growing demand of the industry: the CRL Calabarquez Corporation in 2004 to cater to air monitoring requirements, and the CRL Analytics Corporation in 2005 as its marketing and sales arm.
Additionally, she co-founded ASSET (Analytical Support Services for Environmental Testing) in 2014. A first-of-its-kind “BPO laboratory” specializing in instrument-based analyses, data validation, and organics tests sourced from its laboratory in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A. It also caters to organics testing needs in the Philippines.
She is, presently and concurrently the President and Chief Executive officer of the CRL group of companies and ASSET Philippines.
